Writers @ Work: How to Succeed Four Years Out—Advice from Recent Graduates

Four alumni will discuss their time at Fredonia and how they got to their current career paths four years after graduation.
Writers @ Work: Alumni Writers-in-Residence Series at the State University of New York at Fredonia will be hosting its third Four Years Out residency from Thursday, April 4, through Saturday, April 6. Four alumni from the Class of 2015 will host writing workshops, panel discussions, and class visits. These alumni will share their post-graduation experiences with current and prospective students and share how their time at Fredonia prepared them for success within their respective fields.

This year’s four alumni have a broad range of majors and careers. They are Andrea Vasiloff (Business Administration, ’15) Channel Account Specialist, VMware/Ingram Micro (Buffalo, NY), Christopher Sanchez (Business Administration - Management, ’15; Economics, ’15), Quality Improvement Project Coordinator, Millard Fillmore Suburban and DeGraff Memorial Hospitals (Buffalo, NY), Maggie Gilroy (Journalism, ’15; Musical Theater, ’15), News reporter for the Press & Sun Bulletin (Binghamton, NY), and Naomi Coufal (BA English, ’13, MA English, ’15), Technical Writer, Specialist for Hill-Rom/Welch Allyn (Skaneateles, NY). These events are free and open to the public.
