The Department of Visual Arts + New Media will host Bizhan Khodabandeh as part of the Spring 2024 Visiting Artist Program. Khodabandeh is a designer, illustrator, artist, and cartoonist who lives and works in Richmond, Virginia. Khodabandeh’s work has been recognized by The Society of Illustrators, International Design Awards, and the American Institute of Graphic Arts. Khodabandeh is an assistant professor at VCU’s Robertson School of Media & Culture. He also freelances under the name Mended Arrow.
