The Western New York Teacher Recruitment Day will be held on Wednesday, March 19th from 8am to 4pm at the Niagara Falls Convention Center. More than 100 school districts are expected to participate. Districts will be from Western New York and across New York State, as well as from the mid-Atlantic states, the south, and west.

Candidate registration will open on Tuesday, January 21st and is required for this event. Registration ends on March 5th. There is no fee for candidates to attend. You must possess a teaching certificate and be able to teach by Fall 2025 in order to attend. Graduating seniors and graduate students, as well as alumni, are welcome to attend. Click here to register, then be sure to upload your resume to CareerEco for recruiters to view! Eligibility

Participants must be able to meet all certification requirements by September 1, 2025, and be:

» A currently enrolled bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree candidate or received a degree from one of the participating institutions noted below.

OR

» Attending one of the participating institutions listed for certification only or have received certification through one of the participating institutions.

Note:  Participants who meet all certification requirements above and are attending or graduated from colleges participating in the Central NY TRD may also participate in the Western NY TRD.
