Join us for the Community Walk for Connection, a crucial event dedicated to raising mental health awareness and preventing suicide at SUNY Fredonia and within our larger community.

Loneliness, isolation, and academic stress can significantly impact the mental well-being of students of all ages. This walk is about building connections, fostering a sense of belonging, and demonstrating our collective commitment to mental health and suicide prevention. Join us for a walk that symbolizes our support for one another and our dedication to creating a caring campus community.

We're walking to reinforce the powerful message that while 1 in 10 college students may consider suicide, 9 out of 10 are here to offer support. This message, inspired by the work of the Jordan Porco Foundation, underscores the strength of our community and the importance of reaching out.
