"A Neutral Proof of the Jordan Curve Theorem"
Abstract: The Jordan Curve Theorem is a fundamental result about how curves embed in the plane. The history of its proof sheds light on the dawn of topology. We will review the basic steps in an elementary proof of the statement and discuss a project to adapt this to an axiomatic treatment of neutral geometry. The talk will make reference (of dubious relevance) to lions.
