This event is largely intended for those looking to learn about basic hand sewing skills and textile repairs. Attendees will learn how to thread and knot a needle, how to make basic stitches such as a whip stitch or slip stitch, and applicable situations where these stitches can be used for cosmetic or structural repairs to garments. Attendees do not need to bring anything of their own, but are more than welcome to bring their own sewing materials and or garments in need of repair.
