Dr. Edgar is a music education professor, SEL researcher, and author who was recently named the Director of Practice and Research for the Center for Arts Education and Social Emotional Learning. With the opportunity to interact with each other and with Dr. Edgar, the participants will learn about the ways in which Social Emotional Learning can be supported in an interdisciplinary fashion for students (PreK-12 through university). Especially important since the pandemic, SEL helps students (PreK-12 and university) to develop multiple competencies for success across the curriculum and among disciplines.
