3 PM Collingwood Distinguished Lecture for Diversity. Award winning poet Eileen Myles, King Concert Hall. Free 

4:30 PM - 5:15 PM Book siging by Eileen Myles at the Bookstore. 

5:30 PM  and  8 PM Jazz at Domus Fare, 41 W. Main St., Fredonia, NY

2:30 PM Tour of the 1891 Fredonia Opera House (formerly known as the Wintergarden), Village Hall, Fredonia. Transportation on your own. Free.

3 PM Biology Guest Speaker. Jennifer Russo ’05, Kelly Auditorium, Science Center. Free.

4 PM - 6 PM Education Department Alumni Meet Up 21 Brix Winery, 6654 West Main Road, Portland, NY 14769

TBD Hockey All-Star Scrimmage. Steele Hall Rink.

5 PM   Homecoming Reception. Williams Center. Celebrating the Classes of 1953, 1958, 1963, 1968, and 1973, recognition of Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award recipients. Williams Center (formerly known as the Campus Center or Student Union).  $15/person. Reservations recommended.

6 PM Women’s Volleyball - Fredonia vs. SUNY Cortland, Steele Hall.

7 PM Homecoming Pep Rally Join the fun! Acapella and dance performances, audience games, and the crowning of Homecoming Royalty. This tradition is one you won't want to miss. Steele Hall Fieldhouse

7 PM Class of 1993 Reunion Welcome – Old Main Inn, cash bar, appetizers, T-shirt and Cup Pick up. (For more information and to pay the Reunion package price of $75/person, please  contact Brett Warren brett.warren@excellus.com or Scott Mekus smekus@eventzbyscott.com, to make your reservation.)

7 PM 1970’s Reunion Jazz 20th Anniversary Concert, Rosch Recital Hall, Mason Hall. Free.

PERFORMANCE IS REPEATED SATURDAY, OCT. 21, at 7:30 PM, and SUNDAY, OCT. 22 at 2 PM.

8 PM – 10 PM Observatory Open House at the Telescope– (weather permitting. Backup date is Saturday, Oct. 21, from 8 PM – 10 PM). (See details in Homecoming Highlights article) A final decision based on Friday's weather will be made by 5 PM, on Friday, and posted on the Fredonia Observatory Facebook page. *This event is canceled*

12:30 PM    Class of 1973 Buffet Luncheon, Horizon Room, lower level of Williams Center (formerly known as the Campus Center or Student Union). $25/person. Reservations recommended. (Class photo will be taken at this time.)

1 PM   Golden Alumni Buffet Lunch/Theatre at Main St. Studios, 50 Main St., Fredonia.  Featuring the musical performance, Stories and Dreams, written by Dr. Frank Pullano ’56 and starring our own Theatre students. Open to anyone with a special invitation to all graduates of 1972 and before. $25/person includes lunch and show. Reservations recommended.

1 PM Women’s Soccer – Fredonia vs. SUNY New Paltz, Soccer Field.

1 PM Women’s Volleyball –  Fredonia vs. SUNY Oswego. Steele Hall.

2 PM – 3 PM Book Signing. Bookstore, University Commons. A Song for Kalen: Lessons Learned from the Life and Death of My Son, by Timothy R. Sherlock ’07. (Please see Homecoming Highlights for more information.)

2 PM – 4 PM   All Alumni Get Together (beer tent), Dods Grove. Snacks will be available for purchase.

3 PM - 4 PM Residence Life Reunion for all former Resident Assistants and Directors, Blue Lounge (formerly Tim Hortons), Main Floor, Williams Center (formerly known as the Student Union or Campus Center). Free.

4 PM – 6 PM Sweetheart Soiree.  Costello Room, Atrium Lobby of Marvel Theatre, Rockefeller Arts Center. One complimentary glass of champagne and cake for all who met their spouse or significant other in Fredonia. Free. Reservations recommended.

5 PM Geoscience Department 60th Anniversary Celebration. Western New York Buffet,  Houghton Hall. $25/person. Reservations recommended.
