Homecoming 2019 Schedule

7:30 AM –  8 PM  Freedonia Marxonia Exhibit -- Reed Library.  Free.

A free shuttle bus will continuously circulate the parking lots and campus for your convenience.

9 AM – 5 PM  Bookstore is Open --  University Commons (formerly Cranston Hall).

Noon Golden Alumni Luncheon  --Horizon Room, lower level of Williams Center (formerly known as the Campus Center). For all graduates of 1969 and before. $30/person. Reservations recommended. Register here

Noon – 9 PM  Martha Colburn Exhibit-- An exhibition of four stop-motion, animated films and related collages and props. The Cathy and Jesse Marion Art Gallery, Rockefeller Arts Center. Free.

1 PM – 5 PM  Registration and Ticket Pick Up -- Alumni House, 286 Central Ave.

2 PM – 4 PM  Guest Speakers Presentation and Reception – Co-Sponsored by the Fredonia SUNY Alumni Office and the Native American SUNY: Western Consortium. Japanese Garden area of Reed Library. Alumni and families invited.  Speakers TBA. Free.

2:00 PM Fredonia 1891 Opera House Tour  --Village Hall, Fredonia, NY. Transportation is on your own. Free.

4 PM Biology Keynote Presentation. Deborah J. Good, PhD. ’87.  Room 105 Science Center. Free.

5 PM   Homecoming Dinner --  Main Floor, Williams Center. Celebrating the Classes of 1954, 1959, 1964, and 1969, recognition of Alumni Award recipients. Williams Center (formerly known as the Campus Center). Reservations recommended. Seating is limited. $40.00/person. Register here

6 PM – 9 PM  Martha Colburn Exhibit Reception for Artist --  The Cathy and Jesse Marion Art Gallery, Rockefeller Arts Center. Free.

6 PM  Women’s Volleyball – Fredonia vs. SUNY Cortland. Dods Gym.

7 PM  Student Pep Rally/ Talent Show --. Indoor Track, Steele Hall.  Crowning of Homecoming Royalty. Free.

7 PM – 9 PM Recreational Public Ice Skating -- Ice Arena. Nominal rental charge for skates.

8 PM   The Grapes of Wrath  -- Marvel Theatre, Michael C. Rockefeller Arts Center.  Tickets are $25.00 per person and may be purchased at www.fredonia.edu/tickets or by calling the Fredonia Campus Ticket Office at (716)-673-3501.

8 PM  1970’s Reunion Jazz Concert --  Rosch Recital Hall, Mason Hall. Free.

8 AM – 5 PM Registration and Ticket Pick Up -- Williams Center Information Booth.

Coffee may be purchased at STARBUCKS and TIM HORTONS.

9 AM Biology Alumni Breakfast -- Major Alice Sam Conference Room, Science Center. Free.

9:30 AM – 11:00 AM   School of Business Brunch --For all Accounting, Business, Economics, Sport Management, and Music Industry grads and students.  W301 Thompson Hall. Free.

10 AM Women’s Alumni Soccer Game --  University Stadium.

10 AM – 4 PM  Fourth Annual Fredonia Mini Maker Faire --  Williams Center & Science Center. Free.  Co-sponsored by Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES. For more information:  www.makerfairefredonia.com  Food trucks will be located in Jewett Hall parking lot.

11 AM Campus Tour --  Meet at Information Booth, Williams Center. Free.

1 PM Women’s Volleyball Game – Fredonia vs. Oswego. Dods Gym.

2 PM - 4 PM  Alumni Get Together -- Dods Grove/Tent/DJ. Nominal charge for beer. Please bring ID.  Food trucks will be located in Jewett Hall parking lot.

2 PM – 4 PM Recreational Public Ice Skating -- Ice Arena. Nominal rental charge for skates.

3 PM – 4:30 PM Leadership Corps 30th Anniversary Reception -- For all former and current Leadership students. Room S-222 Williams Center. Free.

6 PM – 9 PM Class of 1999 --  Twenty Year Reunion Happy Hour , Old Main Inn, Water St. Complimentary munchies. Cash Bar.

7:30 PM   The Grapes of Wrath --  Marvel Theatre, Michael C. Rockefeller Arts Center.  Tickets are $25.00 per person and may be purchased at www.fredonia.edu/tickets or by calling the Fredonia Campus Ticket Office at (716)-673-3501.

8 PM  Fredonia Wind Ensemble-- Conducted by Dr. Paula Holcomb. King Concert Hall, Rockefeller Arts Center. Free.

9 PM Class of 2009 --  Ten Year Reunion Happy Hour,  Old Main Inn, Water St. Complimentary munchies. Cash Bar.

9 PM-  Downtown Meetings --  Look for location assignments at Homecoming Registration Booth.  All honored classes (1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004, 2009, and 2014) will have opportunities to convene at designated establishments downtown.
