About this Event
Science Drive, Fredonia, NY 14063
Brian Guy, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral researcher at Johns Hopkins University, where he studies human retinal development using stem cell–derived organoids. His work combines transcriptomics, bioinformatics, and advanced imaging to uncover how Retinoic Acid regulates the timing of retinal neuron birth and maturation. His research informs regenerative strategies for treating degenerative eye diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. He earned a B.S. in Molecular Genetics, with a minor in Music from SUNY Fredonia in 2018. Talk in the Kelly Auditorium. Reception to follow in the Atrium.
