Freedonia Marxonia 2021

Freedonia Marxonia 2021 will feature a virtual event - THERE'S NOTHING LIKE LIBERTY: THE MARX BROTHERS AND AMERICA - the sequel to last year's virtual presentation - HOME AGAIN: THE MARX BROTHERS AND NEW YORK CITY.  Both illustrated lectures are the creation of author, performer, and Marx Brothers expert Noah Diamond, live streaming from his home in Manhattan.

This year's program will debut on Friday, October 1 at 7:00 PM ET.

There will also be a small display in Reed Library from September 28 to October 17 containing Marx Brothers related submissions to the annual art contest. All are invited to participate!

See the Freedonia Marxonia website for links to both programs and more information about Freedonia Marxonia and the art contest. Contact Cindy Yochym in Reed Library or at for questions.

Noah Diamond’s program is made possible through the support of the Fredonia College Foundation's Carnahan Jackson Humanities Fund and Hahn Family Freedonia Marxonia Fund. The art contest and the continuation of Freedonia Marxonia is supported through the Hahn
Family Freedonia Marxonia Fund.
