Fredonia Harp Day presents a free recital by guest artist, Kaitlin Miller. The recital is free and open to the public.
Special Guest: Kaitlin Miller
Kaitlin is currently an active musician in the Los Angeles area performing in orchestral, chamber, and solo settings. Her favorite music to perform ranges from romantic French music to the innovative compositions of contemporary artists. In her orchestral pursuits, Kaitlin has performed with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Pacific Symphony, and American Youth Symphony. Kaitlin’s achievements include winning the 2019 AHS in Dallas Scholarship Competition and the 2020 Anne Adams Awards Competition. She was also honored with fellowships at the Music Academy of the West in 2022 and 2023. Distinguished as the Young Professional Division winner of the AHS National Competition, Kaitlin now stands as the Concert Artist for 2023-2025. When not making music, you can find her in a local coffee shop or relaxing on a beach.
Hosted by Fredonia harp professor, Sonja Inglefield, all events will take place at the Fredonia School of Music. Mason Hall is a harp-friendly building with plenty of handicap access. Music stands and chairs are provided. If you prefer to use a bench, please bring one along with your harp, music, and a tuning key.
