The Fredonia College Symphony has been invited to perform at Opening NIght of the 2017 Winter NYSSMA Conference (Lilac Ballroom).
David Rudge, conductor.


Repertoire:
Wagner - Overture to Der Fliegende Holländer
Stravinsky – Suite from The Firebird


The College Symphony, one of the premiere ensembles in the School of Music, has approximately 90 – 100 members and presents repertoire from all periods of music. Recent performances have included The Planets, Scheherazade, and Petroushka, as well as symphonies by Berlioz, Sibelius and Mahler. Some choral works have been Carmina Burana, Duruflé’s Requiem, and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
