Canceled: Fredonia Choral Festival

Stacey Gibbs returns to Fredonia for the Tenth Annual Choral Festival. As a direct result of our festival last year, Gibbs was commissioned to arrange three pieces specifically for our Fredonia choirs and this special concert will include the world premieres of these pieces under the direction of Mr. Gibbs, including:

"Welcome Table" by Chamber Choir

"Abide with Me" by College Choir

"I Don' Feel No Ways Tired" by Camerata

Additionally, Camerata will perform The "Nightingale" by Thomas Weelkes, "Suffer No Grief" by Abbie Betinis and "My Funny Valentine" by Richard Rodgers and Lorenzo Hart, all under the direction of Dr. Adam Luebke. College Choir will sing "Hope, Faith, LIfe, Love" by Eric Whitacre, "Clementine" by J. Earnest, and "Lead, Kindly Light," by Ken Medema, under the direction of Dr. Mel Unger. The Chamber Choir will sing "Timor et Tremor" by Orlando Di Lassus, "I Am Music" by Dale Trumbore and "Kyrie" from Missa Brevis by Krysztof Penderecki, under the direction of Dr. Vernon Huff. The concert will conclude with Gibbs conducting his arrangement of "Ezekiel."
